The property is perfect! It is just steps from the beach and well equipped with everything we needed. The decor is very welcoming and the location is great and very quiet. Shawn and Jeanette were very helpful and ensured we had a pleasant stay.

Everything was perfect. So clean and comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with dishes, cookware, and spices. An added detail of legos for our two year old and books for my husband to read. The screened in porch is absolutely lovely and peaceful. Very short walk to the beach and shaded bike/walk path. Definitely recommend!

We wanted to stay on the beach and have great views of the ocean. The Carmel cottage exceeded our expectations, with fantastic views from two separate decks. The unit was brand new and beautifully furnished including luxurious bedding and high-end appliances. The hosts, Jeanette and Shawn were extremely efficient, helpful, and responsive. Already looking forward to our next stay.

This property exceeded our expectations! It was clean, organized, beautiful and totally updated. We loved the electronic keypad. The appliances were top of the line. Everything was labeled, including with directions. Decor was tasteful not overdone. Perfect!

As always, this was a spectacular experience for a much-needed reprieve for my wife and I, finally getting away for a real vacation during the pandemic. Kiawah Island Getaways accommodations are always clean, comfortable yet luxurious, in a tranquil and secluded surrounding at Kiawah. For midwesterners adjusted to cold winters, the 60s weather in February was perfect for walks on the beach and bike rides around the island. You will never go wrong with the dining recommendations that they provide in the welcome binder, from Kiawah Island to Charleston and all points in between.
