Kiawah Guidelines for Cape Rentals requires short-term rentals to adhere to the following:
- Minimum rental period: 45 days. We will establish which blocks of time each owner is willing to advertise.
- Advertising cannot be listed on VRBO or AirBNB. Therefore, your best advertising for rentals will be on Kiawah websites, such as ours, that pop up when potential clients search online for Cape rentals.
- Guests who rent 91 nights or longer get the following advantages:
- Tax-Free accommodations – short term accommodation tax is never collected for rentals of 91 nights or higher.
- If the owner of the property being rented is a member of Kiawah’s private Beach Club, the guest will have the opportunity to pay the dues to access to the club during their stay. If guest does this, the owner saves paying dues, however, will lose access during this period.
