We loved The Shade! It was perfect for two people, conveniently located to the beach, beautifully decorated and well equipped kitchen. The check in and check out process was seamless. We will definitely be back. Great job Jeanette and Shawn!

Everything was perfect in this property. It was the perfect location, perfect accommodations, perfect everything. We appreciated all of the little touches, from the notebook with information to the dishwasher and laundry pods, extra seasonings in the cabinet, any kitchen utensil you’ll need to cook, etc… It was all perfect! We look forward to returning next year. The hostess was responsive and professional, too. You won’t be disappointed at this rental.
Beautiful, comfortable villa and can’t be beat location! The Lawsons were so easy to communicate with and the Mariah had everything we needed for a wonderful week. Beds were super comfy, too.
We wanted to be off the grid for a couple days. We had everything needed to enjoy our stay. Restful and refreshing. Perfect.
We had a wonderful time during our stay in this property. It is SO beautifully appointed; truly looks like it’s straight out of a magazine. The views of the beach are stunning. We enjoyed family bike rides on the island paths and the wide open beach. So much wonderful nature to take in on this magical island. The owners were fantastic and friendly and we will be staying at their properties every time we visit from now on!
Place was clean, plenty of room, Great kitchen for cooking. Loved the grill! About 5 minute walk to beach. It was awesome!
My husband, 14 month old son, and I had a fantastic visit to Kiawah staying at Mariner’s Watch. We appreciated how clean the cottage was- especially with our son crawling and cruising around nonstop. The walk to the beach was also significantly closer than we expected! The sand at Kiawah doesn’t have any rocks, sharp shells, or loads of tourists bringing food- so the sand was perfect for our son to crawl and walk (holding our hands) for long distances. He napped great at the house and slept well at night! We were able to rent a crib through Kiawah Island Getaways and it was set up with clean soft sheets when we arrived. When he napped my husband and I would play a game out on the screened in porch. The greenery is absolutely beautiful. The space was everything we needed as a small family. We also rented bikes and went on runs with our stroller most days on the bike path that connects to Mariner’s Watch. Everything was gorgeous and so easy… we cannot wait to plan our next trip back and would love to stay at the same or another Kiawah Island Getaways property! We highly recommend the Coastal Cottage at Mariner’s Watch!
You can’t go wrong. The cavity was clean and very welcoming. It doesn’t get much better.
Awesome place with plenty of room to give everyone their space when needed. Great location and awesome touches from the company that rented it! Will definitely stay again!
