We spent 4 nights over Memorial Day weekend with our two kids – ages 3 & 8. The property is beautifully decorated and kitchen is well stocked. Beds and pillows all comfy. We ate all our breakfasts in the home and we enjoyed all the appliances we needed to feel like home. Blender, toaster, multiple pitchers for our iced tea and fruit infused water. It really is a great set up. You will want a bike with a trailer to take anything to the beach as it’s a bit of a walk to lug bags and toys. Once at the beach entrance, we parked our bikes there then it’s another 150 yards (?) until you hit the sand. You can rent chairs and umbrellas at the beach but they are set out only 10am-5pm. We enjoyed the natural beauty of the island and the community of this property. We saw an alligator in the wild, blue heron, and we heard whip-por-wills nightly.
