2 Inflatable Aerobeds
2 Bathrooms
Accommodates up to 4 Adults and 2 Small Children
No Smoking, No Pets

The Mariah at Windswept is a 2-story, 2-bedroom townhouse that comfortably accommodates up to 6 people. Bathed in warm colors and ample sunlight, appointed in original artwork and topped off with the latest technology, the villa’s 2 master bedrooms, reading nook and living areas show off both personality and class.

Ocean Views From A King-Sized Bed

In the morning, enjoy the ocean view from the warmth of your plush custom-built king-sized bed. During the day, let your toes sink into the handwoven wool rugs that punctuate the property, and take advantage of the kitchen, complete with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.

In the evening, linger over the ocean view from living room deck before settling in to the finely-styled living room for a conversation about the day’s events or to watch your favorite movie on the large flat panel television.

Both master bedrooms have memory-foam matresses, Egyptian-cotton sheets, down-alternative pillows and large flat panel smart televisions. Twin inflatable aero-beds are also available – we find these to be more comfortable, easier to manage and more versatile than sleeper sofas.

Enjoy time in the private reading nook tucked in the upstairs master bedroom, which has stunning landscape/ocean views. Don’t be surprised to find yourself spending hours here, book and glass of wine in hand.

Both master bedrooms have connecting bathrooms. Upstairs, a double vanity, oversized tub and separate shower offer ample room to prep for a night out on the town, and the downstairs bathroom has a tub/shower combination.

Steps to the Atlantic Ocean on Kiawah's East Beach

Located just 30 minutes from historic downtown Charleston on Kiawah’s East Beach, this vacation property is ideally situated. The beach is unsurprisingly a favorite destination – and from here, it’s literally steps to the Atlantic Ocean. A cooler and beach towels are conveniently available in the Mariah. All you have to do is have a good time!

Beyond the beach, put some walking shoes on and check out the nearby shops and restaurants. Several miles of bike trail also wind throughout the island; rent a bike and get peddling!

If you need more space or your preferred dates are unavailable, consider staying in the 3-bedroom Penthouse, located one floor up in the same building or the 2-bedroom Topside, located in the adjacent oceanfront building.

Just what the Dr. ordered by L. Lewis 22 Nov 2017
"This home was perfect and met our expectations with ease. The home was nicely furnished with modern furnishings. The kitchen had everything you could possible need for eating at home including some spices and oils. They had more than enough towels and linens and the beach towels was an added plus. The beach was beautiful and clean with an easy walking distance to the Sanctuary and the small convenient store. If you are a golfer the island doesn't fall short on golf courses (7 I think). And the washer and dryer came in very handy. I would recommend this location for a romantic get away or 2 couples or a small family.
Thank you very much for letting us enjoy you lovely home."

We loved this property! by A. Anderson 25 May 2017
"We've been going to Kiawah Island for years and this is, by far, the best place we've stayed at. We have a 2 and 4 year old and it was so easy to travel with them this year, because of the location and layout of this property. We now plan to stay at one of the Lawson's properties every time we go to Kiawah!! "

"This unit was everything we expected and more. The view from the master bedroom was spectacular. We will be back!"
Would Gladly Visit Again by J. Berger 07 May 2016
"When you think beach vacation, US island, good food, options for food, entertainment, activities and a chance to visit historical sites this has to rank in the top few. The condo itself was very good. It made us think about how we could live here full time. One week in early May was very nice. Weather was warm but not too hot or too much humidity. Only one thunderstorm during the day for the week. Several good views of the ocean were very nice and the small balcony had a good view. Typical of the nice touches, there was a pair of binoculars to use at the house. For two people the house was big, it would be a good fit for four. Two or four children and two adults could work. We pre ordered the bikes and the beach chairs and umbrella. That was a good move. Made it very easy. Walk out the door down to ground level and then walk to the beach and in your beach chair in less than three minutes. We didn't walk the entire 10 mile beach but we would rate our spot one of the best and the beach itself deserves its rating as one of the top beaches on the East Coast. Biking was great with the paths and the ability and the right side to use the beach. I didn't play golf this time but the number of courses and the sights of the courses as we went by made me promise to bring clubs next time. If you don't know about Charleston food then let me say it is very good. The food places have made it to Kiawah Island and maybe beyond. There is a lot to see and do without going to Charleston but if you haven't been it is a very interesting city. The villa comes with a book with a list of places. All the ones we tried that were listed a favorite of Kiawah Island Getaways were spot on. Their comments were very accurate. Yes we had a great time and would gladly visit again."
Spring Breakers from Kentucky by L. Sensabaugh 03 Apr 2016
"The villa lived up to our expectations and them some. It was easy getting onto the island with our printed guest pass, and was a beautiful, scenic drive to the villa. We couldn't believe how quite it was all over the island! The villa was located on the 3rd floor and we never once had to wait for the elevator. As soon as we walked into the villa, we were met with a pleasant fragrance, lights on, peaceful music playing and just a very inviting atmosphere. The size of the villa was perfect for our party of 6, which included 3 children. What was most helpful was that the kitchen was stocked with all the essentials, so you don't have to buy all those extra things that you only need for the stay - salt and pepper, sugar, dish soap, paper towels, etc. Everything was very neat and labeled really well. The decorations were beautiful and felt unique to the space. And the beds...they were so plush and comfortable, from the sheets to the pillows and duvet. There were also toys, games and DVD's supplied, which was nice for the kids. We found the Freshfields village pretty quickly and dined there 2 nights out of the week, as well as picked up groceries. The drive was only about 5-10 mins from the villa. We never used the Night Heron park pool, but it was very close, and we were told that it was heated. We did take the kids to the Night Heron park and nature center, which was only about a 10 min walk from the villa. We drove to Charleston one day, and the only traffic we experienced was on our drive back around 4 pm, but it moved fairly quickly. Overall the villa was immaculate, well maintained and organized and very homey. We were pleasantly surprised with how quiet it was all over the island. One thing to note, bring bikes if you can! It was too hard for us to get the entire family a bike to ride, considering our 4 year old can't ride a bike yet, but we would have loved to take advantage of all the lovely bike paths. So, if you're looking for a peaceful destination with beautiful surroundings, Kiawah Island and the Mariah are perfect for you! We would come back in a heart beat."
This was a wonderful condo. by J. Carr MI 15 Apr 2014
"This was a wonderful condo. It was extremely clean and well stocked with anything you could need. The owners were very easy to deal with. The cost and policies were very clear to understand and reasonable. We would stay there again."
We stayed here for our Spring Break 2013. by T. Murray 23 Mar 2013
"We stayed here for our Spring Break 2013. We are a family of 4 and this condo was just perfect!! I loved having things already provided such as coffee and sweetener. The linens were luxurious and the condo has been very well maintained. We will definitely use Kiawah Island Getaways again. Thanks for a great week!"
Our vacation to Kiawah Island was incredible. by K. McDonald 22 Sep 2012
"Our vacation to Kiawah Island was incredible. From our very first communication with the property managers Jeanette & Shawn - to our very last day, everything was first class. Every minute detail was taken care of from booking the unit, to directions on how to find the property, to places to visit and restaurants to venture to. The unit itself was 5-star - all the amenities you could want and absolutely immaculate. We loved the area/island and will without a doubt vacation here again. We found Kiawah relaxing, fresh and stressfree. Thanks Jeanette & Shawn for an incredible, first-rate vacation! Karen & Scott"
Upon arrival, I immediately felt that this was a "home away from home"! by T. Lewis 14 Apr 2012

Thanks so much for allowing us the use of your beautiful villa! by R. Hughey 09 Mar 2012
"Thanks so much for allowing us the use of your beautiful villa! Everything was perfect, especially the little details...we've been coming to Kiawah since 1978 and this was the best villa experience we've had so far! A great 40th birthday weekend for my wife! Thanks!!! "

We stayed for one week the beginning of April. by C. McCall 06 Apr 2011
"We stayed for one week the beginning of April. We arrived late to the villa after a long day of travel and immediately felt welcomed as the lights were on, music was playing, and the condo was presented as if we were being welcomed to someone's home. Early the next morning we called Shawn with questions and he arrived at the villa a short time later to answer our questions and make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Little things that make a big difference are included with the villa- laundry soap, saran wrap and foil, containers to store leftovers from cooking, wine cork to preserve your wine (loved that as we use those at home!). The villa was immaculate, the quality of furnishings and decorations excellent. The Mariah is even nicer than the pictures reflect! We loved the set-up of the villa with the loft upstairs for reading and the separate master bedroom. The location is excellent with wonderful ocean views and a 5 minute walk to the market for the daily paper. Shawn and Jeanette own these properties and maintain them directly, which shows in the quality and service. There is a binder in the villa with loads of info about the island and Charleston, which we found very helpful although it was not our first time to Kiawah. We will look no further than Kiawah Island Getaways for our next trip as the whole experience, from reservations to check-out, was outstanding."
