The Breeze at Seascape Toggle favorite

Our stay at the Breeze was amazing. It was our first time visiting Kiawah Island. The property was beautifully decorated, high end, yet cozy and inviting making us feel right at home the minute we walked through the door and what a gorgeous view of the ocean! Would highly recommend it. Kiawah Island Getaways, owners Jeanette and Shawn Lawson, were extremely easy to work with, so detail oriented and responsive providing us with all information needed making it a very positive experience.

Great villa and location, will be back in the future.

We absolutely loved this place! I could tell so much love and attention went into decorating and furnishing it, and everything was immaculate. The kitchen was well stocked, the bed was very comfortable , the towels were soft, the place was spotless and well organized. I loved the shower as well as the view off the back porch. I spent every morning drinking coffee and watching the sun rise over the water. Truly, a peaceful, cozy place to spend a vacation. Jeanette was very accommodating and helpful.

The Breeze was so lovely! Very thoughtful design and beautiful details. Super clean and well stocked. Our 6 year old said it was his “dream home”! Our kids loved the little loft and the reading nooks were cozy. We would definitely return here!

I cannot say enough good things about the Lawsons as hosts and this gorgeous property in particular. Ocean views, elegance in every finish and furnishing, as well as comfort in every room and on the deck. The kitchen is so well fixed with high end appliances and dishes that we prepared most meals there to enjoy watching the ocean. The Lawsons were super responsive and helpful throughout. Can’t wait to return!

What a beautiful villa with incredible views! Every detail of the condo was perfect! We loved the outdoor space with the shady tree!

The Breeze at Seascape is Absolutely Fantastic! We enjoyed the most wonderful week. The villa is decorated to perfection and is immaculately clean. The beds are beyond the most comfortable that we have ever slept in. The kitchen is a gourmet chef's dream. Our granddaughter enjoyed the play loft and loved all the toys! This our second year renting from Shawn and Jeanette, they are outstanding hosts. Easy communication, check-in and check-out are so convenient, and they have given attention to every detail you may want or need. You truly feel like you are staying at a luxury home that is well kept and loved. We look forward to returning as often as possible. Thanks so much for making our family vacation a delight!

Jeanette and Shawn make finding, renting and enjoying a Kiawah Island property a “breeze”. We’ve rented more than 15 villas, homes, or townhomes on Kiawah and the Lawson’s service, attention to detail and love for the island surpass any we’ve experienced. Our villa was top notch – beautifully decorated (and I’m very picky), perfectly appointed (laundry detergent pods laid out on a decorative tray – OMG!), and soo clean (including ZERO mold or mildew – a miracle on a humid island). The Breeze at Seascape has three features we especially loved. The large deck overhung with a live oak branch and perfectly framing the ocean view. A beautifully stocked library that beckons you to reserve extra days to fit in more reading. An ingeniously designed stairway to the loft that’s darling for kiddos and a tantalizing hideaway for the adults. Comfy beds, lots of seating, great finishes, amazing cook’s kitchen and just enough personality to be welcoming round out the “pluses”.

The villa is just as pictured and described, great view, location, nice size for our family with 2 teenagers and senior parents. Did I mention the view from the family room and main bedroom? Beautiful sunrises! The beach was great, saw dolphins on our last day. Access to beach was easy, rode our bikes everywhere.

Kiawah Island Getaways goes above and beyond on all fronts. The communication and recommendations leading up to our trip were very helpful and thoughtful. The property where we stayed (Breeze) was extremely well decorated with high end furnishings. It was such a wonderful villa. The kitchen had all that we needed and more. They also provide dish detergent, laundry detergent and many other conveniences that I haven't experienced before (seasons, spices, etc). The beds were SUPER comfortable and location is perfect. I will absolutely rent from Kiawah Island Getaways again and I highly recommend them to anyone traveling to the area!

This is our fourth time renting from KIG and our third time staying in the BREEZE....it never disappoints. The place is absolutely gorgeous and spotless. We arrive as a family of four and bring the four grandparents - all eight of us fit quite comfortably. The loft is a magical spot for two kids, complete with nooks and places for them to play and discover. KIG is the best company that we have ever rented from - they specialize in luxury rentals. We leave our dog with friends and make that sacrifice, knowing that we will be staying in a luxury villa. This is an oceanfront property with a killer view and a deck where the whole family can live. I can't say enough about Jeanette and Shawn and all of their properties. Look no further.

I worked with Jeanette from Kiawah Island Getaways for the first time during my last trip to Kiawah and the entire process was seamless. Her attention to detail was impeccable and was always responsive to any questions. From the information shared pre-visit to the welcome bouquet, you got the sense that they wanted to make you feel at home on a special island. The property itself was clean, tastefully decorated and well-appointed with everything you could possibly need (from beach koozies and frozen beer mugs to down pillows in a variety of fill levels). We rented The Breeze at Seascape through Kiawah Island Getaways and were incredibly pleased with the experience and the location. The Breeze is a well-appointed luxury home. The house was furnished as a home and not a rental property and we enjoyed the thoughtful details. The kitchen exceeded our expectations not only in equipment but also in a well stock pantry. Even the chefs in the family were pleased.

Shawn and Jeanette were lovely to work with providing timely communication and helpful suggestions. While we were there, we had a minor mishap and Jeanette kindly and graciously assisted us in sorting it out. Their service and attention to details along with the luxury home and fabulous setting made our family getaway a delightful experience.

Our only minor negative issue was the final payment requires a check be mail. I had to search for the checkbook and a stamp. But I now know where the checkbook is for the next time we stay with Kiawah Island Getaways.

Our family stayed at The Breeze at Seascape in June 2020. The property was managed by Kiawah Island Getaways, a very professional and responsive organization. Prior to arriving, we had a few questions about the location and local rules. We received a prompt response. There were no missed points in our dealings with Kiawah Island Getaways. Upon arrival, the property was spotless and beautiful. Great visit!

We rented The Breeze at Seascape for 5 days in late May 2020. I am typically not a big fan of home rentals because the quality does not match a luxury hotel but the price often does. I now stand corrected. I couldn't have been happier with the quality of the luxury rental from Kiawah Island Getaways and the value we received! Everything from the appliances and finishes to the towels, bedding, and furniture were immaculate and very high end! I absolutely loved our stay and would not hesitate to recommend to a friend and will come back with my family. As with every "real" review, I need to add one area for improvement. The only thing that was less than 100% was the patio furniture pillows. Due to the tree that offers shade on the deck the cushions have been weathered and have some staining. They really should be replaced. Other than that one little thing the place was amazing. My entire family loved it!!

My wife, our 6 month old son, my aunt, uncle, and myself all thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Kiawah Island Getaways (we stayed at The Breeze). This was our first time in Kiawah and it will not be our last. The check-in process was very easy as it's basically non existent. The property managers handle all of it beforehand so you can get into your rental and on the beach ASAP. Upon entering The Breeze, we were all blown away by the decor. You can tell they invested a lot of time and money into making sure no detail was overlooked. It looks straight out of a Southern Living magazine. The villa is directly on the beach and although the beach access isn't directly behind the house for our rental, it was only a quick 5 minute walk to the beach. The linens were super comfortable in all rooms, some of the nicest we've had the pleasure of sleeping in at any vacation rental or hotel. We had an issue with a small appliance not being in the home and the property managers made sure we had it the very next morning. All in all, there was nothing we disliked about the property or the experience of renting through Kiawah Island Getaways.

This is an exceptional villa. First impressions walking in the front door is the beautiful decor, cleanliness, fresh flowers to welcome you and smelled like walking into a spa. The kitchen has all the needed appliances /pots/ dishware you could need. Plus they have a fancy espresso machine. The bathrooms are clean, modern and have fluffy clean towels.

Plus they even provide beach towels! Beds were comfortable and clean. Location is perfect with less than 2 minute access (walk-able) to beach. They had bikes and boogie boards waiting for us.

Also helpful was there was a good stock of toiletries (soap, dish washing pods, washer pods, face wipes, trash bags, foil, etc). Kids were entertained with art, books and games found in the awesome kid loft. We are looking forward to another family vacation here in the future. Don’t hesitate – book w/ them!! You will not be disappointed.
