Quiet, peaceful perfect spot for two. Girls getaway or couple getaway. Felt at home with the fresh vase of flowers and farm eggs. Loved the close short walk to the beach.

The Lawson’s knock it out of the park on EVERY unit they rented!!! We have stayed in several over the years, and already plan to be back next year. The attention to cleanliness is unreal! Hard at the coast, but they do it. Everything is stocked and up to date. The beds are top notch and so comfortable, a big deal when on vacation trying to relax???We have rented on the island where the mattress was awful and ruined our stay?‍♀️?‍?( not at the Lawson’s places)

Leaving fresh flowers and surprise fresh deviled eggs in the fridge was a treat!!!

Great little villa that has everything you need for one or two people. So close to the beach and Night Heron Park. Kiawah Island Getaways sent so many helpful suggestions. And even left homemade deviled eggs! Yummy!

Best group to stay with on Kiawah. My family has stayed multiple times at Kiawah; these villas are the cleanest and best stocked. Communication with Kiawah Island Getaways is easy, straightforward, and honest. If you’re going to Kiawah, this is the company to stay with. 5 out 5 stars.

Great rental. Perfect for two, less than 100 yards to the beach. Try the dinners for two from “The Nest” at Night Heron Park, a 2-minute drive. Different entrees each day. Folks at Island Getaways were great to work with. We plan to return.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Coastal Cottage! Everything was great! The place was very clean and had great beach access. We had everything we needed and we will definitely rent this one again from Kiawah Island Getaways! Their whole process for renting with them was flawless!

My husband, 14 month old son, and I had a fantastic visit to Kiawah staying at Mariner’s Watch. We appreciated how clean the cottage was- especially with our son crawling and cruising around nonstop. The walk to the beach was also significantly closer than we expected! The sand at Kiawah doesn’t have any rocks, sharp shells, or loads of tourists bringing food- so the sand was perfect for our son to crawl and walk (holding our hands) for long distances. He napped great at the house and slept well at night! We were able to rent a crib through Kiawah Island Getaways and it was set up with clean soft sheets when we arrived. When he napped my husband and I would play a game out on the screened in porch. The greenery is absolutely beautiful. The space was everything we needed as a small family. We also rented bikes and went on runs with our stroller most days on the bike path that connects to Mariner’s Watch. Everything was gorgeous and so easy… we cannot wait to plan our next trip back and would love to stay at the same or another Kiawah Island Getaways property! We highly recommend the Coastal Cottage at Mariner’s Watch!

Enjoyed our stay here. The unit was pretty updated, well equipped and close to the beach.

My husband and I rented this villa for part of our honeymoon. We are from Colorado and although used to the heat, the humidity was too much to take in June. We paid a premium price to stay on the island and were limited in what we were able to do. We’re in our 30s and very active so physical conditioning isn’t an issue!! It was the temperature and humidity!! Several locals said that they’d been experiencing some unusually high temps the week we're visiting. Thankfully The Costal Cottage at Mariners Watch was as great as it was!! We ended up spending most of our time inside! Our evening walks on the beach were perfect though! When we first arrived, the cottage was clean, inviting and smelled wonderful! And even better, the A/C was awesome!! The Owners took the time to pay attention to detail and had thought of almost everything. If you’re renting from Kiawah Island Getaways, you really only need to bring personal items and yourselves; and some standard beach items. Some guests aren’t able to do so when traveling from quite a distance. I will say that even though there are places in the village to rent bikes and beach equipment, with the price you pay for the Cottage, basic beach items such as chairs and beach umbrellas should be available to guests at no addition costs. The only other thing I would caution potential guests about is the unusually early check in/out times. You have the option for early check in or late check out but again, at a fairly steep price for just a few hours. It’s hardly worth paying an additional $100 just to be able to check out at the standard time of 11am. All in all, we had a great and relaxing time. The Owners are very responsive and have gone the extra mile to make sure it’s a place you’d want to spend a lot of time in if you needed to. Pros: Cottage itself. It was clean, comfortable, tastefully decorated and had most of the amenities of home. Beautiful scenery and wildlife. Clean beaches. Fresh Fields Village dining and cute boutique shops. Cons: Heat and humidity (obviously not controlled by people)! Lack of standard beach equipment. Late check in and early check out. Extra costs for beach items, check in/check out…. For anyone who’s been, you know you’re already paying a premium for this cottage and island. There shouldn’t be a need on anyones side to collect or pay additional fees for anything that kind of fits in with the whole beach vacation vibe. Would probably return during a cooler time of year!!

The property is perfect! It is just steps from the beach and well equipped with everything we needed. The decor is very welcoming and the location is great and very quiet. Shawn and Jeanette were very helpful and ensured we had a pleasant stay.

All around a fantastic and professional experience! This was the best experience I have had with a rental company in years and years! The villa was clean, management was extremely helpful, and the unit was decorated and outfitted with such nice things. The fluffy towels, soft sheets, luxury soaps, quality kitchen items...everything has such a nice touch. There was even music playing and lights on when we arrived, like a nice hotel. Would not hesitate to rent from them in the future. Loved Kiawah and loved Kiawah Island Getaways. Others should take notes and see what a good rental agency is like!

This villa was a fantastic size for our family of 3! It was clean and beautifully stocked with high end kitchenware. The location couldn't have been more perfect as it was an easy walk to the beach. The screened porch was a great location for breakfast each morning. We will definitely return.

This was our 2nd successful year staying with Kiawah Island Getaways! Once you've experienced high-quality properties and very professionally run management ... thereWow, it’s difficult to decide where to begin with this one! The villa is absolutely perfect. Like many others who have reviewed the property, we certainly hope to return and stay again. The decor is warm and welcoming. Everything is exactly as it is pictured online. Above all, it was so clean!! After we checked out, the property manager checked in with us to ensure everything was in tip-top shape. Highly recommend!!

Lovely and well appointed villa right across from the beach did not disappoint! The bed was incredibly comfortable and the villa itself was very clean. We can’t wait to stay here again!
