The Mariah at Windswept is a 2-story, 2-bedroom townhouse that comfortably accommodates up to 4 adults and 2 children. Bathed in warm colors and ample sunlight, appointed in original artwork and topped off with the latest technology, the villa’s 2 master bedrooms, reading nook and living areas show off both personality and class.
Ocean Views From a King-Sized Bed
In the morning, enjoy the ocean view from the warmth of your plush custom-built king-sized bed. During the day, let your toes sink into the handwoven wool rugs that punctuate the property, and take advantage of the kitchen, complete with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.
In the evening, linger over the ocean view from living room deck before settling in to the finely-styled living room for a conversation about the day’s events or to watch your favorite movie on the large flat panel television.
Both master bedrooms have memory-foam mattresses, Egyptian-cotton sheets, down-alternative pillows and large flat panel smart televisions. Twin airbeds are also available – we find these to be more comfortable, easier to manage and more versatile than sleeper sofas.
Enjoy time in the private reading nook tucked in the upstairs master bedroom, which has stunning landscape/ocean views. Don’t be surprised to find yourself spending hours here, book and glass of wine in hand.
Both master bedrooms have connecting bathrooms. Upstairs, a double vanity, over-sized tub and separate shower offer ample room to prep for a night out on the town, and the downstairs bathroom has a tub/shower combination.
Steps to the Atlantic Ocean on Kiawah's East Beach
Located just 30 minutes from historic downtown Charleston on Kiawah’s East Beach, this vacation property is ideally situated. The beach is unsurprisingly a favorite destination – and from here, it’s literally steps to the Atlantic Ocean. A cooler and beach towels are conveniently available in the Mariah. All you have to do is have a good time!
Beyond the beach, put some walking shoes on and check out the nearby shops and restaurants. Several miles of bike trail also wind throughout the island; rent a bike and get peddling!
If you need more space or your preferred dates are unavailable, consider staying in the 3-bedroom Penthouse, located one floor up in the same building or the 2-bedroom Topside, located in the adjacent oceanfront building.

Cancellation Policy
-Cancellation more than 30 days prior to arrival date: The Guest will forfeit the deposit and any travel insurance premiums paid.
-Cancellation within 30 days of arrival date: There will be no refund.
-Cancellation of a reservation made within 30 days of arrival date: There will be no refund.
-All cancellation notices must be submitted via email to HaveFun@KiawahIslandGetaways.com.
- If changing dates more than 30 days prior to arrival date, the Guest will incur a $150 fee. Rate for the new rental will be as posted on the website and must be equal or greater to the rate of the current rental agreement. Any funds currently paid will be carried forward.
Deposit Policy
A credit card (VISA, MC or Discover) deposit equal to 20% of the rental rate (plus travel insurance, if selected) is required to confirm your reservation.
However, if you are booking within 30 days of your arrival date, a 100% credit card (VISA, MC or Discover) deposit will be required to confirm your reservation.
Rate varies due to seasonality and holidays.

"Can’t be beat location!"
Beautiful, comfortable villa and can’t be beat location! The Lawsons were so easy to communicate with and the Mariah had everything we needed for a wonderful week. Beds were super comfy, too.

The stay at this Kiawah villa was perfect. It’s a short walk to the beach with the boardwalk to the beach very close by. The week we were there it was low tide during the day, and the beach was SO wide. The villa was beautifully decorated, VERY clean (and I’m pretty picky about that) with beautiful views of the ocean, especially from the upstairs bedroom. Also, nice touch with flowers, and some lights and music on when we arrived. The kitchen is very well equipped and very organized. We would definitely stay here again!

As always, this was a spectacular experience for a much-needed reprieve for my wife and I, finally getting away for a real vacation during the pandemic. Kiawah Island Getaways accommodations are always clean, comfortable yet luxurious, in a tranquil and secluded surrounding at Kiawah. For midwesterners adjusted to cold winters, the 60s weather in February was perfect for walks on the beach and bike rides around the island. You will never go wrong with the dining recommendations that they provide in the welcome binder, from Kiawah Island to Charleston and all points in between.

Wonderful place for our family of 4 ( grown children in their 20’s). Close to the beach. Nice views of the ocean from upper level master. Very comfortable beds. Host was very helpful pre and post stay. Provided helpful info through out. Check in and out process easy. Highly recommend!! Very clean as well.

"Always Impeccably Maintained"
We love Kiawah and have always enjoyed our time spent there no matter what the season. Over the years we have continued to use Kiawah Island Getaways as our rental agency. Their properties suit our needs perfectly and are always impeccably maintained. In addition, all items needed in the kitchen, bedrooms, baths and living areas are always in place making it so easy to enjoy our time at the beach. Not having constantly to run to the market to acquire more garbage bags, soap, detergent, etc. ensures we have a more time to absorb lovely Kiawah and its beach. Mariah at Windswept was the perfect unit for two couples-king beds for all! When not outside we loved the ocean views from the dining room table. In the future whenever we can visit Kiawah, we will of course use Kiawah Island Getaways.
